Quantum successfully completed commissioning of its largest helium recovery system to date at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), setting a new standard in efficiency and scale. The system recovers helium from over 100 instruments across a vast facility, enabling the production of 300 liters of liquid helium per day. Equipped with cutting-edge technologies—including membrane, PSA, and cryogenic purification—the system also features online monitoring for recovery rates and purity levels. This achievement highlights Quantum’s leadership in sustainable helium recovery and purification systems for large-scale facilities.
